Guide · Stuck tokens
Drained wallet, tokens stuck — why you cannot send
MetaMask shows USDT/USDC/other tokens, but every send fails or ETH for gas vanishes. That usually means the key is burned and a sweeper is active — not that the tokens are “locked by the chain.”
Why transfers fail
ERC-20 transfers still need the sender to pay gas in native coin. If a bot steals that gas instantly, the token transfer never confirms. The tokens remain on the address until someone moves them with a method that does not fund the burned wallet.
Checklist
- Open the address on Etherscan / Basescan / BscScan — list remaining tokens.
- Assume the seed/private key is public. Create a new wallet.
- Fund a separate sponsor with gas on that chain.
- Use Rescue Desk → Tokens to sweep ERC-20 atomically (20% fee on success).
NFTs and claims
NFTs and some stake/claim positions need different tabs (NFT, Claim & Transfer, Native, Contract). If a protocol cannot pay a 7702-delegated wallet, that specific claim may revert — skip it and rescue what you can.
Scam warning
Anyone DMing “support” after you post about a hack is almost always a second attacker. Never share a seed phrase.
