EIP-7702 wallet rescue explained
Pectra enabled EOAs to set temporary code via authorization lists. Rescuers use that to run Multicall3 from the compromised address while a sponsor pays the transaction fee.
Type-4 in one sentence
One transaction carries an authorization from the burned wallet plus the sponsor’s signature for gas — delegation and asset moves happen together.
What gets rescued
- ERC-20 balances still on the compromised address
- Native balances (when safe to move via value batch)
- On supported flows: claim/unstake calldata then sweep (advanced)
Chains
Rescue Desk targets Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain, and Polygon — networks where EIP-7702 and Multicall3 are available.
Fee model
20% success fee on rescued fungible value; 80% to your receive wallet.
